Ghaafer 9 of 9
It is God Who has created cattle for you to ride and to consume as food. 79 and for you there are other uses in them, and that upon them you may reach a need in your chests, and upon them and on ships you are carried. 80 He shows you His signs; which then of the signs of God will you deny? 81 Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? They were more numerous than themselves and greater in strength and in impression on the land, but they were not availed by what they used to earn. 82 They were far too content with their own knowledge (to pay attention to the Messengers) when Our Messengers came to them with illustrious evidence. They were encompassed by the torment for mocking Our guidance. 83 Then when they behold Our prowess, they said: we believe in Allah alone, and we disbelieve in that which with Him we have been associating. 84 But their belief profited them naught when they saw our prowess. This hath been Allah's dispensation that hath been in regard to His bondmen. And then there were lost the infidels. 85
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
