The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
