Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
