And most surely this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 upon thy heart, that thou mayest be one of the warners, 194 In a clear Arabic language. 195 Without doubt it is (announced) in the mystic Books of former peoples. 196 Was it not a proof for them that the learned men of Israel knew about this? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 Then they will say: "Shall we be respited?" 203 Do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Have you then considered if We let them enjoy themselves for years, 205 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! 206 what avail will their past enjoyments be to them? 207 And never did We destroy a township which did not have Heralds of warning, – 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 And the Shaitans have not come down with it. 210 it behoves them not, neither are they able. 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 Hence, [O man,] do not invoke any other deity side by side with God, lest thou find thyself among those who are made to suffer [on Judgment Day]. 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers. 215 So if they do not obey you, then say, “Indeed I am unconcerned with what you do.” 216 And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,- 217 who sees thee when thou standest 218 And your movement among those who prostrate. 219 Indeed only He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend? 221 They descend upon every calumniator, sinner. 222 They give ear, but most of them are liars. 223 And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about in every valley 225 and they say what they do not do? 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
