The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
