The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
