And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
