The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 It will engulf them. 8 in outstretched columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
