Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
