Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
God the Almighty always says the truth.
