Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Abundance diverts you, 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... 5 that you shall surely see Hell? 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
