He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 And what do you know, he may be of the pure! 3 Or that he may accept advice, so the advice may benefit him. 4 For him who does not care, 5 Unto him thou payest regard. 6 And you have nothing to lose if he does not become pure. 7 but as for one who comes to you, eagerly 8 And he feareth 9 From him will you divert yourself. 10 No indeed, this is a Reminder; 11 So whosoever willeth - let him be admonished therewlth. 12 It is contained in scrolls highly honoured, 13 lofty and pure, 14 by the hands of the noble, virtuous, 15 Honourable and obedient. 16 Woe to man! How ungrateful he is! 17 From what has God created him? 18 He created him from a living germ. He determined his fate 19 Then eased the way for him. 20 Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave; 21 Then when He pleases, He will bring him back to life. 22 No indeed! Man has not accomplished His bidding. 23 Then let man look at his food, 24 It is We Who pour forth water, pouring, 25 Thereafter We cleave the earth in clefts, 26 to yield therein corn, 27 and vines and edible plants, 28 And olive and palm trees 29 Orchards thick with trees, 30 and fruits and pastures 31 A provision for you and your cattle. 32 But when there comes the Deafening Blast 33 The day on which a man shall fly from his brother, 34 Mother and father, 35 And his wife and his children, 36 Every man of them shall on that day have an affair which will occupy him. 37 Some faces that Day will be beaming, 38 laughing, rejoicing at glad tidings. 39 And other faces that Day will be dust-stained, 40 enveloped by darkness. 41 those will be ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity. 42
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
