Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
