Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 'and do Thou ease for me my task. 26 And loose a knot from my tongue, 27 that they may understand my speech. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 Add Thou through him to my strength, 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 so that we may glorify 33 “And profusely remember You.” 34 Surely Thou seest into us.' 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 We had already shown you favor 37 “When We inspired in your mother’s heart whatever was to be inspired.” 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 Go thou and thy brother with My signs, and slacken not in remembrance of Mine. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 yet speak gently to him, that haply he may be mindful, or perchance fear.' 44 Both said: O our Lord! Surely we fear that he may hasten to do evil to us or that he may become inordinate. 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement shall light upon him who cries lies and turns his back." 48 [But when God's message was conveyed unto Pharaoh,] he said: "Who, now, is this Sustainer of you two, O Moses?" 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 He then asked, "What do you know about the past generations?" 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54
