O My bondmen! no fear shall be on you Today, nor shall ye grieve 68 Those who believed in Our communications and were submissive: 69 “Enter Paradise – you and your wives – and you will be honoured guests.” 70 To them will be passed large platters and cups of gold. There will be all that souls desire and all that eyes delight in. (And it will be said:) 'There you shall live for ever. 71 This is the Paradise which you have been made to inherit because of your deeds which you used to do (in the life of the world). 72 You shall have therein abundant fruit to eat' 73 [But,] behold, they who are lost in sin shall abide in the suffering of hell: 74 (The torment) will not be lightened for them, and they will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair therein. 75 And We did not oppress them at all, but they themselves were unjust. 76 And they will cry: "O Malik (Keeper of Hell)! Let your Lord make an end of us." He will say: "Verily you shall abide forever." 77 We have brought to you the truth, but most of you despise the truth. 78 Have they determined an affair? then verily We are also determining. 79 Do they fancy that We do not listen to their whispers and their counselling? Why not, We surely do! And Our angels are with them, writing down. 80 Say, [O Muhammad], "If the Most Merciful had a son, then I would be the first of [his] worshippers." 81 Utterly remote, in His glory, is the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth - the Sustainer, in almightiness enthroned from all that they may attribute to Him by way of definition! 82 So let them flounder (in their talk) and play until they meet the Day which they are promised. 83 It is He (Allah) Who is the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) in the heaven and the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) on the earth. And He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower. 84 And blest be He Whose is the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and with Him is knowledge of the Hour, and unto Him ye will be made to return. 85 Those they invoke apart from Him have no power of intercession, except those who testify to the truth and have knowledge. 86 And if you ask them as to Who created them, they will surely answer “Allah” – so where are they reverting? 87 [But God has full knowledge of the true believer] and of his [despairing] cry: "O my Sustainer! Verily, these are people who will not believe!" 88 Wherefore turn thou aside from them, and say: peace; presently they shall come to know. 89
