(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 But how are you to know? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
