Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 Till the appointed day." 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
