In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
YA SIN. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On the Straight Path. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
