▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 47 Having in them various kinds. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 53 (They shall) recline on couches lined with brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand. 54 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And beside them are two other gardens, 62 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 63 dark green in color. 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 In both of them are two springs, spouting. 66 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Fair ones, confined in tents. 72 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 73 [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
