We indeed created man; and We know what his soul whispers within him, and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 each word he utters shall be noted down by a vigilant guardian. 18 And death's agony comes in truth; that is what thou wast shunning! 19 And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 Assuredly thou wast in neglect thereof; now We have removed from off thee thy veil, so thy sight Today is piercing. 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 29
