In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
We sent Noah to his people telling him, "Warn your people before a painful torment approaches them". 1 He said: "O my people, I warn you clearly 2 that you serve Allah and fear Him, and follow me; 3 He will forgive you some of your faults and grant you a delay to an appointed term; surely the term of Allah when it comes is not postponed; did you but know! 4 He said: "O my Lord! I have called to my People night and day: 5 but the more I called, the farther they fled. 6 And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance. 7 Then I called them loudly and more openly, 8 and spoke to them in public and in private." 9 "I said (to them): 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; 10 ‘He will send down abundant rain for you from the sky.’ 11 increase your wealth and sons; and grant you gardens and waterways. 12 What aileth you that ye expect not in Allah majesty! 13 Knowing that He has created you by various stages? 14 Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers 15 setting in them the moon as a light and the sun as a lantern? 16 ‘And it is Allah Who made you grow like vegetation from the earth.’ 17 Afterwards He will return you into it (the earth), and bring you forth (again on the Day of Resurrection)? 18 And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse 19 so that you may walk along its spacious paths?" 20

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
