Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Read! In the name of your Lord, who created: 1 created man from a clot [of blood]. 2 Recite thou: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous, 3 Who taught by the pen, 4 Taught man that which he knew not. 5 No! [But] indeed, man transgresses 6 Because he considers himself self-sufficient. 7 However, (all things) will return to your Lord. 8 Seest thou one who forbids- 9 a worshiper when he prays. 10 Have you seen if he is upon guidance 11 Or enjoins righteousness? 12 Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away? 13 Does he not know that Allah does see? 14 And yet indeed if he does not desist We shall drag him by the forelock, 15 by the lying forelock steeped in sin. 16 Then let him call upon his henchmen! 17 We, will call the Zabania (the harsh angels of Hell). 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us.
