The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ The Merciful 1 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 2 Created man, 3 And taught him to express clearly. 4 The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation, 5 [before Him] prostrate themselves the stars and the trees. 6 And the heaven! He hath elevated it, and He hath set the balance. 7 That you not transgress within the balance. 8 And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance. 9 He spread out the earth for the people. 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 and a variety of corn with both husk and grain. 12 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 13 He created man from clay like [that of] pottery. 14 and He created the jinns from a flame of fire. 15 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie 16 He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons. 17 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 18 He has made the two oceans meet each other, 19 but has created a barrier between them so that they will not merge totally. 20 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 21 Pearls and corals come from both. 22 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 23 To Him only belong the sailing ships, raised above the sea like hills. 24 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
