VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
