When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 When they had gone past (the confluence), Moses said to his servant: "Give me my breakfast. I am exhausted from this journey." 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 'This is what we have been seeking' said he, and they retraced their footsteps 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Musa said unto him: shall I follow thee that thou mayest teach me of that which thou hast been taught a directive knowledge. 66 He said: verily thou wilt not be able to have with me patience; 67 And how shouldst thou bear patiently that thou hast never encompassed in thy knowledge?' 68 Moses said, "God willing, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He said: Well, if thou go with me, ask me not concerning aught till I myself make mention of it unto thee. 70
