Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Predestination. 1 And what will make you comprehend what the Night of Destiny is? 2 The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. 3 On this Night, the angels and the spirit descend by the permission of their Lord with His decree (to determine everyone's destiny). 4 It is peace till the dawning of the day. 5
True are the words of God the Almighty.
