The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
