▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 As a warning unto men, 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 in Gardens they will question 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 as if they were startled asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
