Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 Woe to those who pray 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
