The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful 3 and Master of the Day of Judgment 4 Thee only we serve; to Thee alone we pray for succour. 5 Show us the straight way, 6 The way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, not of those who have been condemned [by Thee,] nor of those who go astray! 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
