Say: "Travel in the land and see what happened to those who disbelieved." 11 Say: 'To whom belongs that which is in the heavens and the earth' Say: 'To Allah. He has written for Himself mercy, and will gather you on the Day of Resurrection in which there is no doubt. Those who have lost their souls, they do not believe' 12 ۞ To Him belongs all that rests during the night and the day. He is All-hearing and All-knowing." 13 Say: 'Should I take any but Allah for a guardian? He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. He feeds and is not fed' Say: 'I was commanded to be the first to submit to Him' Do not be one of the idolaters. 14 Say thou: I verily fear, if I disobey my Lord, the torment of a Mighty Day. 15 Who is averted from (such a torment) on that Day, (Allah) has surely been Merciful to him. And that would be the obvious success. 16 And if Allah afflicts you with some misfortune, then there is none who can remove it, except Him; and if He sends you some good fortune, then (know that) He is Able to do all things. 17 for He alone holds sway over His creatures, and He alone is truly wise, all-aware. 18 Say: "What could most weightily bear witness to the truth?" Say: "God is witness between me and you; and this Qur'an has been revealed unto me so that on the strength thereof I might warn you and all whom it may reach." Could you in truth bear witness that there are other deities side by side with God? Say: "I bear no [such] witness!" Say: "He is the One God; and behold, far be it from me to ascribe divinity, as, you do, to aught beside Him!" 19 Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize it as they recognize their [own] sons. Those who will lose themselves [in the Hereafter] do not believe. 20
