Al-A 'araaf 13 of 24
Has it not become clear to those who inherited the earth after its [previous] people that if We willed, We could afflict them for their sins? But We seal over their hearts so they do not hear. 100 Those villages We narrate their news to you. Their Messengers came to them with clear proofs, yet they would not believe what they had belied before; as such Allah seals the hearts of the unbelievers. 101 And We did not find for most of them any covenant; but indeed, We found most of them defiantly disobedient. 102 After those We sent forth Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his nobles, but they dealt with Our signs unjustly. Observe, then, what happened to the mischief-makers. 103 Moses said, "Pharaoh, I am a messenger from the Lord of the Universe, 104 I must only speak what is true about God. I have brought you miracles from your Lord; therefore, let the children of Israel go free". 105 Said Firaun, “If you have come with a sign, then present it if you are truthful!” 106 Thereupon he cast down his rod, when, lo it was a serpent manifest. 107 And he drew out his hand, and behold! it was white to all beholders! 108
