We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place, and provided for them sustenance of the best: it was after knowledge had been granted to them, that they fell into schisms. Verily Allah will judge between them as to the schisms amongst them, on the Day of Judgment. 93 Now, if you are in doubt concerning what We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Book before you. It is the truth that has come to you from your Lord, so do never become one of those who doubt, 94 do not be one who rejects God's signs, for then you would become one of the losers. 95 Verily those on whom the word of thy Lord hath been justified shall not believe. 96 Even though all the signs came to them, not till they face the grievous punishment. 97 Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time. 98 And [thus it is:] had thy Sustainer so willed, all those who live on earth would surely have attained to faith, all of them: dost thou, then, think that thou couldst compel people to believe, 99 No soul can believe, except by the will of Allah, and He will place doubt (or obscurity) on those who will not understand. 100 Say, "Look at whatever [exists] in heavens and on earth." But signs and warnings do not benefit the unbelievers. 101 Can they expect anything but what the people before them had known? Say: "Then wait. I am waiting with you." 102 Then we shall save Our Messengers and the believers. It is Our obligated duty, We shall save those who believe. 103
