We settled the children of Israel in a blessed land and provided them with pure sustenance. They did not create differences among themselves until after the knowledge had come to them. God will judge their differences on the Day of Judgment. 93 If you are in any doubt concerning what We have sent down to you, then question those who have read the Book before you: the Truth has come to you from your Lord, so do not be one of the doubters -- 94 And you should not be of those who reject the communications of Allah, (for) then you should be one of the losers. 95 Lo! those for whom the word of thy Lord (concerning sinners) hath effect will not believe, 96 even though every sign [of the truth] should come within their ken - until they behold the grievous suffering [that awaits them in the life to come]. 97 For, alas, there has never yet been any community that attained to faith [in its entirety,] and thereupon benefited by its faith, except the people of Jonah. When they came to believe, We removed from them the suffering of disgrace [which otherwise would have befallen them even] in the life of this world, and allowed them to enjoy their life during the time allotted to them. 98 Had your Lord so willed, all those who are on the earth would have believed. Will you, then, force people into believing? 99 And no soul can accept faith except by the command of Allah; and He sets the punishment upon those who do not have sense. 100 Say: Behold what is in the heavens and the earth! But revelations and warnings avail not folk who will not believe. 101 What do they wait for then but the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say: Wait then; surely I too am with you of those who wait. 102 Then We will save our messengers and those who have believed. Thus, it is an obligation upon Us that We save the believers 103
