The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 This Book, there is no doubt in it, is a guide to those who guard (against evil). 2 Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them, 3 And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. 4 These are on guidance from their Lord, and these they are the blissful ones. 5 Those who disbelieve, whether you forewarn them or not, they will not believe. 6 God has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a covering, and there awaits them a mighty chastisement. 7
