O all you who believe, seek you help in patience and prayer; surely God is with the patient. 153 And do not speak of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead; nay, (they are) alive, but you do not perceive. 154 And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). 155 Those who say, when afflicted with a calamity, "We belong to God and to Him we shall return," 156 Their Lord will bestow great blessings and mercy upon them; such are the people who are rightly guided. 157 ۞ Safa and Marwah are among the symbols set up by God; there is nothing wrong if anyone goes on a pilgrimage to the House, or performs a minor pilgrimage, in walking to and fro between them. Of anyone who does good of his own accord, God is appreciative, and aware. 158 Those who conceal the clear signs and the guidance that We have sent down, after We have shown them clearly in the Book -- they shall be cursed by God and the cursers, 159 But from those who repent and mend their ways and make known the truth, I will certainly accept their repentance: I am the Ever Relenting, the Most Merciful. 160 Those who deny the truth, and die as deniers, on them shall be the curse of God and of angels and of men altogether. 161 therein dwelling forever; the chastisement shall not be lightened for them; no respite shall be given them. 162 Your God is one God. There is no deity save Him. He is the Compassionate, the Merciful. 163
