Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
