It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “To Whom does the earth and all that is in it belong to, if you know?” 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
