۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
