Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 We shall remove all hatred from their breasts and make them as brothers reclining on thrones facing one another. 47 There no sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 And inform them of Ibrahim’s guests. 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They (the angels) said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners). 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
