۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
