VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 We shall cast out any grudge they may have in their hearts. (There) they will sit on couches face to face like brothers together. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?" 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
