The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ The decree of God is at hand, so do not seek to hasten it. Holy is He, and exalted far above what they associate with Him. 1 He sends down the angels, with the inspiration of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], "Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me." 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with a purpose. Exalted is He above that which they associate. 3 He created man out of a mere drop of fluid, and lo! he turned into an open wrangler. 4 And cattle He has created for you (men): from them ye derive warmth, and numerous benefits, and of their (meat) ye eat. 5 And you find beauty in them as you drive them to pasture in the morning and as you drive them back home in the evening; 6 And they carry your loads to a land that you could not reach except with great trouble to yourselves. Truly, your Lord is full of Kindness, Most Merciful. 7 (He has created for you) horses, mules, and donkeys, which you ride and as an adornment; and He creates what you do not know. 8 To God leads the right path, though some deviate. If He willed He could guide you all to the right way. 9
