And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Surely, the killing of them is a great sin. 31 Nor come nigh to adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils). 32 And do not kill anyone which Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause. And whoever is killed (intentionally with hostility and oppression and not by mistake), We have given his heir the authority [(to demand Qisas, Law of Equality in punishment or to forgive, or to take Diya (blood money)]. But let him not exceed limits in the matter of taking life (i.e. he should not kill except the killer only). Verily, he is helped (by the Islamic law). 33 And do not approach the wealth of the orphan except in the best possible way, till he reaches adulthood; and fulfil the promise; indeed the promise will be asked about. 34 Give full measure when ye measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight: that is the most fitting and the most advantageous in the final determination. 35 Do not follow what you do not know; the ears, eyes, and hearts will all be held responsible for their deeds. 36 And do not go about in the land exultingly, for you cannot cut through the earth nor reach the mountains in height. 37 All that is evil in the sight of your Lord, and is detestable. 38 That is of the wisdom your Lord has revealed to you. Do not set up with Allah another god, or you will be cast into Gehenna, condemned and rejected. 39 Has God chosen to give you sons, and taken for Himself daughters from among the angels? You utter grievous things indeed! 40
