On the day when We shall call all men with their record, and whoso is given his book in his right hand -- those shall read their book, and they shall not be wronged a single date-thread. 71 Those who are blind in this life will also be blind in the life to come and in terrible error. 72 AND behold, they [who have gone astray] endeavour to tempt thee away from all [the truth] with which We have inspired thee, [O Prophet,] with a view to making thee invent something else in Our name - in which case they would surely have made thee their friend! 73 Indeed, had We not strengthened you, you might have inclined to them a little, 74 Had you done so, We would certainly have made you face double punishment in this life and after your death and you would have found none to help you. 75 And indeed, they were about to drive you from the land to evict you therefrom. And then [when they do], they will not remain [there] after you, except for a little. 76 (This was Our) way with the messengers We sent before thee: thou wilt find no change in Our ways. 77
