On the day when We shall summon every group along with its leader; so whoever is given his register in his right hand – these will read their accounts and their rights will not be suppressed even a thread. (* They will be given the full reward.) 71 And whosoever hath been in this life blind will in the Hereafter be blind, and far astray from the way. 72 And their purpose was to tempt thee away from that which We had revealed unto thee, to substitute in our name something quite different; (in that case), behold! they would certainly have made thee (their) friend! 73 and had We not confirmed thee, surely thou wert near to inclining unto them a very little; 74 In that case, We would have made you taste a double portion (of punishment) in this life and a double portion (of punishment) after death. And then you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 They try to annoy you so that they can expel you from the land. Had they been successful, no one would have been left behind except a few. 76 Such was Our way with the messengers We sent before you, and you will find no change in Our ways. 77
