Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mountain, and drew him near in (Divine) conversation. 52 And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet. 53 And mention in the Book Ishmael; he was true to his promise, and he was a Messenger, a Prophet. 54 He enjoined on his household worship and zakat, and he was obedient to his Lord. 55 And mention in the Book Idris; he was a true man, a Prophet. 56 and We exalted him to a lofty position. 57 These are whom Allah has blessed among the Prophets from among the seed of Adam and of those whom We bore with Noah; the descendants ofAbraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chose. For when the verses of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down prostrate, weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Yet they were succeeded by generations [of people] who lost all [thought of] prayer and followed [but] their own lusts; and these will, in time, meet with utter disillusion. 59 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. These will enter Heaven, and they will not be wronged in the least. 60 They will be admitted to the garden of Eden which is the unseen promise of the Beneficent God to His servants. The promise of God will certainly come true. 61 They will not hear therein anything vain, only greetings of peace. They will receive their provision there morning and evening. 62 Such are the gardens which We will give to Our God-fearing servants as their inherited property. 63 (Muhammad), we (the angels) do not come to you without being commanded by your Lord to do so. To Him belongs all that is before us, behind us, and in between. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, so serve Him and be patient in His service. Do you know any one equal to Him? 65
