The human being says, "Shall I be brought to life again after I will die?" 66 But does man not bear in mind that We have created him aforetime out of nothing? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 Then We shall save those who use to fear Allah and were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) therein (humbled) to their knees (in Hell). 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 Absolutely not, We will record his words and prolong his punishment. 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 They have taken other deities besides God, so that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
