And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does not man remember that We created him before this, and he was non existent? 67 By your Lord, We shall most surely gather them and the devils too; and bring them close to hell on their knees. 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 and there is not one of you but shall pass through it: a decree from your Lord which must be fulfilled. 71 Then, We will save those who were cautious of Us, but the harmdoers shall be left there hobbling on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to those who deny the Truth they are wont to say to those who have faith: "Which of the two groups has a better status and whose assemblies are grander?" 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Have you, then, seen him who disbelieves in Our communications and says: I shall certainly be given wealth and children? 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken gods beside Allah that they might be unto them a glory. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
