Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
